Richard A. McCray Scholarship in Arts and Sciences

The Richard A. McCray Scholarship is awarded to students in the College of Arts and Sciences who meet the following criteria: (1) current undergraduate enrolled full-time in the College Arts and Sciences, (2) cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, and (3) must have a major in one of the following fields: Applied Math; Astrophysical and Planetary Sciences; Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences; Biochemistry; Chemistry; Ecology and Evolutionary Biology; Economics; Environmental Studies; Geography; Geological Sciences; Integrative Physiology; Mathematics; Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology; Physics; or Psychology. Students participating in the Miramontes Arts and Sciences Program (MASP) are eligible to apply. Students should demonstrate a strong interest in pursuing a career in science education. In addition, other considerations may include professional preparation for a career in science education, contribution to diversity, demonstrated financial need as determined by the Office of Financial Aid, and a final interview.
