Richard A. McCray Scholarship in Arts and Sciences

The Richard A. McCray Scholarship provides support to full-time, academically strong (minimum GPA of 3.5 or higher) undergraduates in the College of Arts and Sciences with a major in one of the following departments: Applied Math; Astrophysical and Planetary Sciences; Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences; Ecology and Evolutionary Biology; Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology; Chemistry and Biochemistry; Economics; Geography; Geological Sciences; Integrative Physiology; Mathematics; Physics; Psychology; Environmental Studies; or to students participating in the Minority Arts and Sciences Program. Applicants should demonstrate an interest in pursuing a career in science education. Other possible considerations are financial need, professional preparation for a career in science education, contribution to diversity, and a final interview.
