Ruyle Family Scholarship

The Ruyle Family Presidents Leadership Class Scholarship was established to support Colorado students who are underrepresented or first generation from rural areas, and students from federally recognized Indian Tribe from the Rocky Mountain region. Underrepresented students include those students from geographic areas and socioeconomic backgrounds who are historically underrepresented at CU Boulder and/or students who have faced unusual adversity. Eligibility is based on academic excellence and participation in the Presidents Leadership Class program. Students currently enrolled at CU must also have a minimum 3.25 GPA. Female students are especially encouraged to apply; however, gender will not be considered a factor in the selection process.

To be eligible for consideration, applicants must:

• Complete the CU Boulder General Scholarship Application.
• Apply for and be selected for the Presidents Leadership Class, earning automatic consideration for the Ruyle Family Presidents Leadership Class Scholarship

The Scholarship is for $10,000 per year and is renewable for up to four years provided the recipient remains in good standing as a full-time PLC undergraduate student each fall and spring semester and maintains a minimum GPA of 3.25.
