Woodruff Memorial Scholarship in Arts & Sciences
The Woodruff Memorial Scholarship in Arts & Sciences is provided through the College of Arts & Sciences Dean’s Office. Recipients of the Woodruff Memorial Scholarship in Arts & Sciences are awarded for one-year and the scholarship is renewable for up to four years.
To be considered for this scholarship, you must:
- Be a first-year incoming undergraduate student enrolled full-time in the upcoming academic year with a declared major in the College of Arts & Sciences.
- Be a Colorado resident and a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident.
- Have a High school GPA of 3.5 or higher.
- Demonstrate financial need according to the FASFA
To apply for consideration, you must:
- Complete the CU Boulder General Scholarship Application
- Complete this application and submit all requested materials by the deadline.
Awards are based on financial need, academic merit, leadership experience, and community or school involvement.
Renewal Criteria
To be eligible to renew this scholarship each year, recipients are required to enroll as full-time undergraduate students each fall and spring semester with a declared major in the College of Arts & Sciences, maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA each year, continue to demonstrate need by submitting the FASFA each year by the renewal deadline (6/1) and meet SAP eligible.

This scholarship requires an interview and a reference from your high school guidance counselor or principal. Note: supplemental materials are due by the scholarship deadline. Late submissions will not be accepted.
