AFWA Scholarship

The Denver Chapter of AFWA awards several scholarships in August for the next academic year. As our organization grows, so does our ability to offer financial assistance to outstanding
accounting/finance students. We have awarded well over $30,000 each year for the past 3 years – individual scholarships of $1,500 to $4,000, to multiple accounting/ finance students
attending various Colorado institutions.
Candidates must: have completed 60 semester hours or the equivalent, by the application deadline; be majoring in accounting or finance; have a minimum cumulative college grade point
average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or the equivalent; be attending a Colorado college or university. Scholarship candidates will be reviewed based on leadership, character, communication
skills, scholastic average and financial need.
