Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer Alumni Association Scholarship

The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer Alumni Association Scholarship is provided through the Alumni Association and the University of Colorado Boulder. This scholarship supports students who demonstrate a record of commitment to the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and/or their allies’ communities. This scholarship also supports students in their journey as Buffs and builds an early connection between them and the Alumni Association. Recipients of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer Alumni Association Scholarship are awarded for one academic year.

To be eligible for consideration, applicants must:

  • Be a returning undergraduate or graduate degree-seeking student.
  • Enrolled full-time at CU Boulder.
  • Have minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
  • Have a connection to the LGBTQ+ community through activities and/or community service.

Please note that a student cannot receive this scholarship more than twice.
Recipients are also encouraged to submit a Post-Acceptance bio and thank you letter to donors and supporters of the scholarship.

This scholarship aims to support the lived and individual experiences and achievements of first-generation college students. This scholarship is open to qualified CU Boulder applicants and does not discriminate based on race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, creed, religion, veteran status, marital status, political affiliation, political philosophy, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression in accordance with state, federal, and Regent law.
