Schrotenboer Scholarship Fund

The Schrotenboer Scholarship Fund is provided through the College of Communication, Media, Design and Information (CMDI). Recipients of the Schrotenboer Scholarship Fund are awarded for one year and the scholarship is a one-time scholarship.

To be considered for this scholarship:

• You must be a CMDI undergraduate student
• You must demonstrate Financial Need according to the Free Application for Federal Student Aid or CASFA.
• Academic merit will be considered.
• Preference given to students who are first-generation college students. First-generation students are defined as those whom neither parent/guardian has earned a four-year college degree.

How to Apply

To apply for consideration, you must:

• Complete the CU Boulder Scholarship Application
• Complete the CMDI Conditional Application
• Submit your application by the posted deadline.

This scholarship aims to provide support for students enrolled in the College of Communication, Media, Design and Information (the “College”) at the University of Colorado Boulder. Scholarship recipients will be selected in accordance with established procedures for awarding need-based scholarships for students demonstrating financial need. Scholarships will be awarded for one academic year and are renewable based on criteria established by the University, if applicable..
