Cynthia Verson Memorial Endowed Scholarship

The Cynthia Verson Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund is provided through The Department of Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences and the University of Colorado Boulder. Recipients of the Cynthia Verson Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund are awarded for one-year. This is a one-time scholarship.

To be considered for this scholarship, you must:

• Be a current undergraduate enrolled full-time with a declared major in the Department of Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences (ATOC).
• Complete the “Major GPA” and “Research” questions in the A&S Scholarship Application.

How to Apply

To apply for consideration, you must:

• Complete the CU Boulder General Scholarship Application.
• Complete the “A&S Scholarship Application” and answer the optional “Major GPA” and “Research” questions.

Debbie established an endowed scholarship fund in memory of her sister Cindy. Cindy loved the environment and wanted to give back. In addition to several Colorado charities, the ATOC Department at CU Boulder received a donation.

Scholarship recipients will be selected in accordance with established procedures for awarding merit-based scholarships. Scholarships will be awarded for one academic year and may be renewable if students reapply each year, requirements are met and funding is available.
