"Like Water" Scholarship in A&S (One Time)

The Like Water Scholarship in A&S (One Time) is provided through the College of Arts & Sciences Dean’s Office. Recipients of the Like Water Scholarship in A&S (One Time) are awarded for one-year, and the scholarship is a one-time scholarship.

To be considered for this scholarship, you must:

• Be a current undergraduate enrolled full-time in the upcoming academic year with a declared major in the College of Arts & Sciences.
• Demonstrate commitment to personal growth, creative problem-solving, and perseverance in academic and personal pursuits.

How to Apply
To apply for consideration, you must:

• Complete the CU Boulder General Scholarship Application
• Complete this application by the deadline.

This scholarship is open to qualified CU Boulder students and does not discriminate based on race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, creed, religion, veteran status, marital status, political affiliation, political philosophy, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression in accordance with state, federal, and Regent law.

To honor the influence of Bruce Lee’s philosophy and his groundbreaking contributions to martial arts, philosophy, and global cultural understanding, the “Like Water Scholarship” was established by the Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences, Daryl Maeda, and based on his recent book titled, _Like Water: A Cultural History of Bruce Lee _(NYU Press, 2022). This scholarship aims to support students who embody the spirit of adaptability, resilience, and continuous self-improvement.
