History Matters
The History Matters scholarship has been established by CU alumni Louise (Hist’78) and Mark (Hist’78) Bohe, who met in history classes. The History Matters scholarship is provided by the Department of History and the University of Colorado Boulder. Recipients of the History Matters scholarship are awarded for one year and past recipients are encouraged to reapply. This is a one-time scholarship.
To be considered for this scholarship, you must:
*Be a current junior or senior level student at the time of receiving the scholarship funds with a major in History.
*Demonstrate Financial Need according to the Free Application for Federal Student Aid or CASFA.
The Scholarship Committee particularly encourages underrepresented students in the History department to apply. Underrepresented students include those students from geographic areas and socioeconomic backgrounds who are historically underrepresented in the field of History, and/or students who have faced unusual adversity.
