Alumni Association San Francisco Bay Area Chapter Scholarship

The Alumni Association San Francisco Bay Area Scholarship is provided through the Alumni Association and the University of Colorado Boulder. This scholarship supports students from the San Francisco Bay area during their journey as Buffs and builds an early connection between them and the Alumni Association. Recipients of the Alumni Association San Francisco Bay Area Scholarship are awarded for one academic year.

To be eligible for consideration, applicants must:

  • Be an incoming first-year undergraduate degree-seeking student.
  • Enrolled full-time at CU Boulder.
  • Have minimum 3.25 high school cumulative GPA.
  • Have graduated from a high school in the San Francisco Bay area.
  • Have a residency status of non-resident.

Recipients are also encouraged to submit a Post-Acceptance bio and thank you letter to donors and supporters of the scholarship.

This scholarship aims to support the lived and individual experiences and achievements of first-generation college students. This scholarship is open to qualified CU Boulder applicants and does not discriminate based on race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, creed, religion, veteran status, marital status, political affiliation, political philosophy, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression in accordance with state, federal, and Regent law.
