Merle Colglazier Scholarship

The Merle Colglazier Scholarship is provided by the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology (EBIO) and the University of Colorado Boulder. Recipients of the Merle Colglazier Scholarship are awarded for one year. This is a one-time scholarship.

To be considered for this scholarship, you must:

  • Be currently enrolled full-time as an undergraduate major in EBIO at CU Boulder.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to the EBIO program.
  • Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

How to Apply
To apply for consideration you must:

- Be sure to add your volunteer/public/community service activities on the General Application including answering #11 in full. Complete the “Have you experienced substantial family or personal responsibilities, challenges, or financial constraints that have impacted you” question.
  • Complete this scholarship application by the deadline.

Please note that if selected for this scholarship, you will be awarded during the 2026-27 academic year.
