Richard A. McCray Scholarship in APS

The Richard A. McCray Scholarship in Astrophysical and Planetary Sciences is provided through the Department of Astrophysical and Planetary Sciences and the University of Colorado Boulder. Recipients of the Richard A. McCray Scholarship in Astrophysical and Planetary Sciences are awarded for one year. This is a one-time scholarship.

To be considered for this scholarship, you must:

  • Be a current undergraduate student majoring in Astrophysical and Planetary Sciences in the College of Arts & Sciences.
  • Must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 and demonstrated leadership ability.
  • Special consideration for students who may wish to pursue a career in science education
  • Students with demonstrated financial need according to the Free Application for Federal Student Aid or CASFA. are also considered.
