Kirkland B. Greer Memorial Scholarship in Arts & Sciences

The Kirkland B. Greer Memorial Scholarship is provided through the College of Arts & Sciences Dean’s Office. Recipients of the Kirkland B. Greer Memorial Scholarship are awarded for one-year, and the scholarship is a one-time scholarship.

To be considered for this scholarship, you must:

  • Be a current undergraduate student enrolled full-time in the upcoming academic year with a declared major in the Arts and Humanities division in the College of Arts & Sciences.
  • Have a cumulative CU GPA of 2.8 or higher.
  • Have completed a minimum of 29 credit hours in A&S.
  • Demonstrate financial need according to the FASFA or CASFA.

To apply for consideration, you must:

Awards are based primarily on financial need, although academic merit is a consideration. Students receiving this scholarship as sophomores or juniors may competitively reapply for renewal in subsequent years. Renewal is not guaranteed.

This scholarship was created by friends and family in honor of Kirkland, who was majoring in Philosophy at the time of his death.
