Leon and Mitzi Shands Endowed Scholarship in Physics

The Leon and Mitzi Shands Endowed Scholarship is provided through The Department of Physics and the University of Colorado Boulder. Recipients of the Leon and Mitzi Shands Endowed Scholarship are awarded for one-year. This is a one-time scholarship.

To be considered for this scholarship, you must:

*Be a current Undergraduate enrolled full-time with a declared major in Physics or Engineering Physics.

• Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Demonstrate Financial Need according to the Free Application for Federal Student Aid or CASFA.

How to Apply

To apply for consideration, you must:

• Complete the CU Boulder General Scholarship Application.
• Complete the College of Arts & Sciences Scholarship Application

Preference will be given to non-traditional students, including students who are working full-time, supporting a family while going to school, or who have been graduated from high school or equivalent for 5 or more years.
