Smith Family Scholarship in Arts & Sciences

The Smith Family Scholarship is provided through the College of Arts & Sciences Dean’s Office. Recipients of the Smith Family Scholarship are awarded for one-year, and the scholarship is renewable for up to four years.

To be considered for this scholarship, you must:

  • Be an incoming first-year undergraduate student enrolled full-time in the upcoming academic year with a declared major in the College of Arts & Sciences.
  • Demonstrate academic merit.
  • Demonstrate financial need according to the FASFA or CASFA.

Renewal Criteria
This scholarship is renewable for up to four years as long as the recipient remains enrolled full-time with a major in the College of Arts & Sciences, maintains a GPA of 3.0 or higher, remains SAP eligible, continues to show need as determined by submitting the FASFA/CASFA by the priority deadline, and funding is available.
