Latinx Alumni Association Scholarship
The Latinx Alumni Association Scholarship is provided through the Alumni Association and the University of Colorado Boulder. This scholarship supports students who have a connection to the Latinx community through activities and/or community service. This scholarship also supports students in their journey as Buffs and builds an early connection between them and the Alumni Association. Recipients of the Latinx Alumni Association Scholarship are awarded for one academic year.
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must:
- Be an incoming first-year, returning undergraduate or graduate degree-seeking student.
- Enrolled full-time at CU Boulder.
- Have minimum 3.25 cumulative GPA.
- Have graduated from a high school in Colorado.
- Have a connection to the Latinx community through activities and/or community service.
Recipients are also encouraged to submit a Post-Acceptance bio and thank you letter to donors and supporters of the scholarship.
How to Apply
To apply for consideration, you must:
- Complete the CU Boulder Scholarship Application.
- Thoughtfully respond to additional essay prompts.
Submit your application by the posted deadline.
This scholarship aims to support the lived and individual experiences and achievements of first-generation college students. This scholarship is open to qualified CU Boulder applicants and does not discriminate based on race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, creed, religion, veteran status, marital status, political affiliation, political philosophy, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression in accordance with state, federal, and Regent law.
