Charlotte and Madison Wilson Endowed Scholarship Fund

The Charlotte and Madison Wilson Endowed Scholarship Fund is provided through the Department of Economics and the University of Colorado Boulder. Recipients of the Charlotte and Madison Wilson Endowed Scholarship Fund are awarded for one year. This is a one-time scholarship.

To be considered for this scholarship, you must:

Preference will be given to applicants who are first generation in their family to attend college. The Donor intends that this scholarship support underrepresented students in the Department of Economics. Underrepresented students include those students from geographic areas and socioeconomic backgrounds who are historically underrepresented in the field of economics, and/or students who have faced unusual adversity. Scholarship recipients will be selected in accordance with established procedures for awarding need-based scholarships. Students do not need to apply directly for this scholarship. Instead, award decisions are made by a committee in the Department of Economics.

This scholarship aims to support the lived and individual experiences and achievements of first-generation college students. This scholarship is open to qualified CU Boulder applicants and does not discriminate based on race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, creed, religion, veteran status, marital status, political affiliation, political philosophy, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression in accordance with state, federal, and Regent law.
