CU Alumni Association ForeverGold Scholarship

The CU Alumni Association ForeverGold Scholarship is provided through the Alumni Association and the University of Colorado Boulder. This scholarship is funded by generous contributions to the ForeverGold Scholarship Fund by members of ForeverGold. This scholarship supports current first-year students/rising second-year students who demonstrate a commitment to the excellence of CU Boulder and the community through academic achievements, leadership and involvement in campus clubs and organizations. Recipients of the CU Alumni Association ForeverGold Scholarship are awarded for one academic year and the scholarship is renewable for up to 3 academic years.

To be eligible for consideration, applicants must:

  • Currently be a first-year (rising second-year) undergraduate degree-seeking student.
  • Enrolled full-time at CU Boulder.
  • Have minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA.
  • Have graduated from a high school in Colorado.
  • Demonstrate service to CU Boulder through campus involvement in clubs and/or other campus volunteerism/extracurricular activity.
  • Have a residency status of resident.

Recipients are also encouraged to submit a Post-Acceptance bio and thank you letter to donors and supporters of the scholarship.

Renewal Criteria
To be eligible to renew this scholarship each year, recipients are required to enroll as full-time undergraduate students each fall and spring semester, maintain a 3.25 cumulative GPA each academic year, and meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP). This scholarship is renewable for up to 3 years.

This scholarship aims to support the lived and individual experiences and achievements of first-generation college students. This scholarship is open to qualified CU Boulder applicants and does not discriminate based on race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, creed, religion, veteran status, marital status, political affiliation, political philosophy, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression in accordance with state, federal, and Regent law.
