Economics Department Incoming Student Scholarships

This Economics Department Incoming Student Scholarship is provided through the Department of Economics and the University of Colorado Boulder. Recipients of the Economics Department Incoming Student Scholarship are awarded for one year. This is a one-time scholarship.

To be considered for this scholarship, you must:

• Be an incoming first-year undergraduate student enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences with a declared major in Economics.
• Be a Colorado resident.
• Have a high school GPA of 3.5 or higher.
• Demonstrate Financial Need according to the Free Application for Federal Student Aid or CASFA.

Awards are based on financial need, academic merit, leadership experience, and community or school involvement. This scholarship opportunity will offer several small scholarships including one large scholarship that covers in-state tuition for one year at CU Boulder.

How to Apply

To be eligible for consideration, applicants must:

• Complete the CU Boulder General Scholarship Application.
