Environmental Studies Undergraduate Scholarships

Scholarships in the Department of Environmental Studies. Recipients of any of the Department of Environmental Studies scholarships are awarded for one year. These are all one-time scholarships.

To be considered for any of these scholarships, you must:

*Be currently enrolled full-time as an undergraduate major in Environmental Studies.
*Have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher

Certain scholarships awarded through ENVS may have additional requirements including:
*A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
*Demonstrated financial need according to the Free Application for Federal Student Aid or CASFA.

Some scholarships will be awarded on the basis of financial need. Others will be awarded on the basis of strong academic performance or other criteria; in the case of equal qualifications, financial means will be a consideration.

Students who apply will be considered for the following scholarships:

*Wickholm Scholarship (amount varies)
*Ruthann LeBaron Scholarship (amount varies)

*ENVS Undergraduate Scholarship (amount varies)
*Joseph “Joey” Herrin Memorial Scholarship (amount varies)
*Kristin Elizabeth Lyell Scholarship (amount varies)

*Chen Family Endowed Scholarship Fund in Environmental Studies (amount varies)
The ENVS program will also consider applicants to be nominated for the J. Tour Scholarship in Arts and Sciences.
