Bob and Dickie Lacher Scholarship Fund

The Bob and Dickie Lacher Scholarship Fund is provided through the College of Arts & Sciences Dean’s Office. Recipients of the Bob and Dickie Lacher Scholarship Fund are awarded for one-year, and the scholarship is renewable for up to three years.

To be considered for this scholarship, you must:
• Be a sophomore in the upcoming academic year enrolled full-time with a declared major in Biochemistry or Chemistry in the College of Arts & Sciences.
• Have a cumulative CU GPA 3.0 or higher.
• Be in good standing per CU’s SAP policy

How to Apply
To apply for consideration, you must:
• Complete the CU Boulder General Scholarship Application
• Complete this application plus all requested materials (faculty letter of recommendation) by the deadline.

Renewal Criteria
To be eligible to renew this scholarship each year, recipients are required to enroll as full-time undergraduate students each fall and spring semesters, maintain a 3.0 cumulative CU GPA each year, and meet SAP eligible.

Preference is given to students who have graduated from a high school in Colorado or Minnesota. Extracurricular activities, community service, and recommendation letters will be used as secondary criteria between applicants of equal merit and must be received by deadline.
