Elizabeth J. Meyer Endowed Scholarship Fund for Queer Pedagogy

This fund was established by Elizabeth Meyer, School of Education Associate Dean of Students, Associate Professor, and alumni of the MA in EFPP (1997). Dr. Meyer’s research and writing focuses on issues related to gender and sexual diversity in K-12 schools, and this scholarship reflects her values in education. This scholarship will be used to provide scholarship awards for undergraduate and graduate teacher licensure students enrolled in the School of Education at CU Boulder. Scholarship recipients will be in their student teaching year. Recipients should be committed to supporting LGBTQ youth, and preference will be given to first generation resident students, students who have financial need, students who have a strong interest in working in a Title I school or other under-resourced school community.
