Peter H. Molnar Endowed Scholarship Fund in Earth, Atmospheric and Climate Science

The Peter H. Molnar Endowed Scholarship Fund in Earth, Atmospheric and Climate Science provides undergraduate scholarship awards for residents of Colorado transfer students enrolled in the Department of Geological Sciences in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Colorado Boulder. The scholarship will cover tuition and fees up to $14,000. Preference will be given to students who are the first generation in their family to attend college and students historically underrepresented in the field of geosciences and/or climate science. Preference may be given to students who demonstrate financial need based upon FAFSA/CASFA.

To be eligible for consideration, applicants must:

• Complete the CU Boulder General Scholarship Application.
• Complete the College of Arts & Sciences Scholarship Application.

This application is for the 2025-2026 awarding cycle. Recipients from this applicant pool will be awarded in the 2025-2026 academic year.

It is the donor’s hope that scholarship recipients participate in at least one engagement opportunity with a partner high school within Colorado. Engagement activities will be coordinated and arranged the Department.
