James D. and Margaret Carpenter Scholarship

The Carpenter family has had multiple members in two different generations attend CU Boulder and recognizes how fortunate they are. They created this fund to enable others to enjoy the same experience. This fund provides undergraduate scholarship awards for students who are first generation in their family to attend college and who also demonstrate significant financial need. Scholarships are for one year and are renewable up to three additional years. Each semester, you must enroll in and earn a minimum of 12 credit hours, maintain a minimum 2.00 cumulative GPA, and meet Satisfactory Academic Progress and continue to demonstrate financial need as demonstrated by submitting the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) each year by February 15.
