Sonja Clauson Scholarship

This fund was established through a bequest from the estate of Sonja Kay Clauson in 2011 to provide scholarships and minimum maintenance to deserving, underprivileged, and intellectually qualified children who are members of a federally-recognized Native American tribe or who have at least one parent who is a member of a federally ­recognized Native American tribe. Preference is for students majoring in the College of Music. Sonja Kay Clauson graduated from the University of Colorado School of Music with a Bachelor of Music degree in 1961.
