WGST Undergraduate Scholarship Application

The WGST Undergraduate Scholarship Application is provided through The Department of Women and Gender Studies and the University of Colorado Boulder. Recipients of any of the WGST Scholarships are awarded for one year and these scholarships are one-time scholarships.
This application includes consideration for the following scholarships:

Jean Dubofsky Scholarship in Women and Gender Studies
Lucile Berkeley Buchanan Scholarship in Women and Gender Studies

To be considered for this scholarship, you must:

  • Be a current undergraduate with a major in Women and Gender Studies.
  • Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Must be making regular progress toward degree completion.
  • Students must demonstrate a commitment to social justice in an essay of approximately 250-500 words. Preference will be given to a first-generation college student.

These scholarships aim to support the lived and individual experiences and achievements of first-generation college students. These scholarships are open to qualified CU Boulder applicants and do not discriminate based on race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, creed, religion, veteran status, marital status, political affiliation, political philosophy, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression in accordance with state, federal, and Regent law.
