Van Gerven Merit Scholarship
The Van Gerven Merit Scholarship is awarded two incoming first-year undergraduate students who graduated from a Colorado High School who are first-generation college students and plan to participate in the A&S Honors Program at CU Boulder.
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must:
- Must be enrolled in a major in the College of Arts & Sciences
- Must participate in the A&S Honors Program
- Complete the CU Boulder General Scholarship Application.
- Complete the College of Arts & Sciences Scholarship Application.
The scholarship is awarded for one academic year and is renewable through completion of a first-time bachelor’s degree. To maintain eligibility, recipients must enroll full-time as undergraduate students each fall and spring semesters; and maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA each semester. Recipients are also required to participate in the CU Boulder Honors Program by taking an honors course every semester.
