Hummel Scholarship

Established by the Hummel Family Foundation in 2017, the Hummel Scholars Program was created to provide scholarship support up to $12,500 annually for students at the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder. The family’s vision is to attract business-minded students to Leeds and support them throughout their four-year degree. Those selected will immediately become part of a network of current and past Hummel Scholars, being invited to attend annual events and participate in appreciation activities. In order to receive your scholarship funds each, you must remain a full-time student in the Leeds School of Business, complete the yearly FAFSA, and maintain good academic standing.

First-year/Freshman: this award is renewable for your current, second-year/sophomore, third-year/junior, and fourth-year/ senior years provided you stay enrolled at Leeds as a full-time student, maintain good academic standing and continue to demonstrate financial need with the yearly submission of FAFSA.

- Second-year/Sophomore: this award is renewable for your current, third-year/ junior, and fourth-year/senior years provided you stay enrolled at Leeds as a full-time student, maintain good academic standing and continue to demonstrate financial need with the yearly submission of FAFSA.

- Third-year/Junior: this award is renewable for your current and fourth-year/senior years provided you stay enrolled at Leeds as a full-time student, maintain good academic standing and continue to demonstrate financial need with the yearly submission of FAFSA.

- Fourth-year/Senior: this award will be applied to this academic year only..

All first-year/ freshmen admitted to Leeds School of Business are automatically considered for Leeds-based scholarships at time of admission. We encourage you to complete the CU Boulder General Application for consideration of university-wide opportunities. Scholarship notification will be sent by April 1

Continuing students: Please be sure to fill out the Leeds and CU Boulder Scholarship Application between November 1 and the March deadline for priority scholarship consideration. Scholarships will be awarded contingent on your maintaining within 0.2 points of your Fall GPA after your final spring term grades. Continuing Students will be notified of awards by early May.

You must remain enrolled in Leeds to maintain eligibility for your awards, along with any other scholarship-specific requirements.
