Fayne I. and Edward E. Weant Scholarship

Fayne and Edward Weant established this scholarship fund after attending their 50th Reunion Celebration at CU in 1998. Fayne was a teacher and Edward was from a family of educators. They both believe strongly in public school education and that students who wish to become teachers deserve financial support. Scholarships will provide support to candidates pursuing teacher education who demonstrate financial need. Preference will be given to students from rural communities in the Midwest. If these criteria cannot be met, the scholarship may be awarded to first-generation students.
