Alumni Legacy Scholarship for Freshmen
When a family makes it a tradition to attend CU Boulder, it’s something to be proud of. The Alumni Association’s Legacy Scholarship was established to honor students who have a parent, step-parent, grandparent or step-grandparent who graduated from CU Boulder. Eligibility is based on merit, community involvement and legacy relationship.
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must:
- Complete the CU Boulder General Scholarship Application
- Be an incoming first-time and first-year degree seeking undergraduate student enrolled full time.
- Have minimum 3.5 cumulative high school GPA.
- Have a parent, step-parent, grandparent or step-grandparent who graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder
- Demonstrate through their essays, a strong connection to the University of Colorado Boulder and their Buffalo Legacy.
The Scholarship is awarded for one academic year. Recipients are also encouraged to submit a Post-Acceptance bio and thank you letter to donors and supporters of the scholarship.
