Richard L. and Amanda W. Smoot Scholarship in Economics

The Richard L. and Amanda W. Smoot Scholarship is awarded to students who meet the following criteria: (1) current senior-level undergraduate with a major in Economics, (2) GPA of 3.0 or higher, and (3) demonstrated financial need. Preference is given to students participating in the CU in D.C. internship program, and to students who have an interest in the arts and humanities, in addition to their studies in economics. Students do not need to apply directly for this scholarship. Instead, award decisions are made by a committee in the Department of Economics.
