This merit-based scholarship is awarded over each full academic year, with half of the award dispersed in the fall semester and the remaining half in the spring. For the 2025-2026 academic year, we are offering six scholarships of $2,000 each. Recipients are encouraged to write a thank you letter to the Beardsley family.
To apply for this scholarship, complete the supplemental questions and arrange for a current or former instructor or work supervisor to submit a letter of recommendation on your behalf. Letters of Recommendation must be received by March 15. Past recipients are eligible to apply for a second Beardsley Scholarship during their time at CU Boulder. If selected, the second award is limited to a maximum of $2,000. Applicants may receive the scholarship no more than twice.
