Merle Colglazier Scholarship

The Merle Colglazier Scholarship provides scholarship support to undergraduate students majoring in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology (EBIO) at the University of Colorado Boulder. This scholarship is awarded to students declared in the EBIO major who meet the following criteria:

• Enrolled full-time as an undergraduate major in EBIO at CU Boulder.
• Demonstrate a commitment to the EBIO program.
• Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Complete the CU Boulder General Scholarship Application.
  – Be sure to add your volunteer/public/community service activities on the General Application including answering #7 in full. Complete the Have you experienced substantial family or personal responsibilities, challenges, or financial constraints that have impacted you? essay question.
• Complete the College of Arts & Sciences Scholarship Application.
  – Complete the following essay questions in the Arts & Sciences Scholarship Application: Describe your current research activities and In what ways have you actively engaged with or demonstrated a commitment to inclusion,
  equity, or social justice in your previous roles or experiences, either before or during your time?
  at CU Boulder?
• Complete this scholarship application by the deadline.

Please note that if selected for this scholarship, you will be awarded during the 2025-26 academic year.
