Sawyer-Ratliff Scholarship

The Sawyer-Ratliff Scholarship was established in 1995 by Stan Ratliff & Suzanne Sawyer-Ratliff as a continuing demonstration of their family’s commitment to CU Boulder and to Bilingual/Multicultural Education. Stan was a professor in the School of Education for 26 years and both he and Suzanne began their careers as public school teachers. Additionally, all of their children, four of whom are educators, attended the University of Colorado Boulder. Eligible students must be pursuing teacher licensure through the CU Boulder School of Education and aspire to work with culturally and/or linguistically diverse students and their families.
