Lucile Berkeley Buchanan Endowed Arts and Sciences Fellows' Fund

The Lucile Berkeley Buchanan Jones Endowed Arts and Sciences Fellows’ Fund is awarded to students in the College of Arts and Sciences who meet the following criteria: (1) incoming freshman or current undergraduate or graduate student enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences, (2) committed to honoring the legacy of Lucile Berkeley Buchanan Jones, and (3) pursuing education and community service benefiting the Black and African American communities. Preference is given to students who are dedicated to broadening participation in multicultural and diversity-focused programs. This scholarship award is in memory and honor of Lucile Berkeley Buchanan Jones, the first African American woman to graduate from the University of Colorado on June 5, 1918.
