Veterans Alumni Association Scholarship

The Veterans Alumni Association Scholarship is provided through the Alumni Association and the University of Colorado Boulder. This scholarship supports students who have honorably served their country and are demonstrating continued service to the community as they attend the University of Colorado Boulder. This scholarship also supports student veterans in their journey as Buffs and builds an early connection between them and the Alumni Association. Recipients of the Veterans Alumni Association Scholarship are awarded for one academic year.

To be eligible for consideration, applicants must:

  • Be a returning undergraduate or graduate degree-seeking student.
  • Enrolled full-time at CU Boulder.
  • Have minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
  • Have proof of service and honorable discharge.

Service to others, leadership, teamwork and the Forever Buffs Spirit are extremely important to the CU Boulder Veterans Alumni Association group. This scholarship supports student veterans who have demonstrated these attributes. We are honored to support those brave individuals who provided freedom to our nation and will eventually stand with us, Shoulder to Shoulder as alumni of the University of Colorado Boulder. Recipients are also encouraged to submit a Post-Acceptance bio and thank you letter to donors and supporters of the scholarship.
